Archaeologist, historian

After the degree in Classical Archaeology achieved in Florence, she went to Athens and attended the Italian Archaeological School for three years where she earned her specialization degree in archaeology. There, she traveled all over Greece and Turkey, and she worked as archaeologist on the island of Lemnos. Back to Florence, she has been working at the Archaeological Museum, writing texts and implementing archaeological exhibits; she has been giving guided tours at the Archaeological Museum in Artimino, near Prato. Her main aim is to contribute to the understanding of archaeological themes and issues, with this purpose she wrote the texts for the web site www.archeologicatoscana.it owned by the Soprintendenza della Toscana, by the office of didactical services, and as a blogger she writes on cultural subjects on www.memoriedalmediterraneo.com. She deals mostly with Anthropology in Ancient Greece , History of Ancient Religions and the History of Florence.
