The University of Florence, in particular the SAGAS Department, has long collaborated with CAMNES, in many sectors.
From 2010 CAMNES was the official partner of the excavation project of the University of Florence to Erimi-Laonin Tou Porakou (Cyprus) now of the University of Turin.
From summer 2013 CAMNES together with the University has set up a new archaeological field school at Shawbak & Petra in Jordan with the assistance of Prof. Guido Vannini and Dr. Michele Nucciotti.
With the aid of the SAGAS Department professors and with the collaboration of the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Tuscany, CAMNES organized an important workshop on 12 and 13 April 2013 dedicated to the Archaeology in Florence along with the publication of its proceedings.
CAMNES has also collaborated with the University in organizing the 16th SOMA (Symposium on Mediterranean Archaeology) entitled "Identity and Connectivity", 1st 3rd March 2012 in Florence. CAMNES together with the University also edited the proceedings of the symposium.
In 2015, in collaboration with the Superintendency for Archaeological Heritage of Tuscany and the Egyptian Museum in Florence, CAMNES organized with the help of the University, the 11th International Congress of Egyptologists IAE (International Association of Egyptologists) and the pubblication of the proceedings.
