Stefano Giuntoli
Etruscologist, Scientific Director of the Tuscania Archaeological Mission (Italy)

Has been adjunct Professor at the Department of Archaeology and Etruscologia Italica, University of Florence (2004-2011) and for the course of Etruscan Archaeology at the Culture Center for Foreigners at the same university (since 1998); lecturer at the master course "Knowing Etruria" of the University of Siena (from 2003); lecturer for the course of Archaeology at the International University of Art in Florence (from 1994); Professor of Etruscan Archaeology for HTE courses for "Technician of Restoration of Archaeological Materials" (coordination of 'University of Florence and Siena) and for "Technician for Computer Applications of Archaeology" (coordination of the University of Florence). Scientific director of the excavations of the Etruscan archaic settlement of Accesa (Massa Marittima - GR, Italy) and the Etruscan necropolises of Hellenistic period at Macchia Reserve (Tuscania - VT, Italy). He has participated at numerous excavations as a collaborator archaeologist of the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Tuscany and for other research and protection institutions. Responsible for the design and the scientific coordination of the Archaeological Museum of Massa Marittima (with prof. G. Camporeale) and the Theme Park of the Etruscan civilization - Archaeological Area dell'Accesa (with prof. G. Camporeale), as well as temporary archaeological exhibitions. He has produced a number of scientific publications of etruscan topic.
